Automattic has added Day One, a popular journaling tool for Mac and Apple smartphones, to its array of online writing tools.

Since its March 2011 debut on the Mac and iTunes App Stores, the app has been downloaded over 15 million times, providing users with a private space to share their views. Although since, it has received numerous accolades, including Editor’s Choice, App of the Year, and Apple Design Award, as well as praise from other reviews.
