Google Debuts an Artificial Intelligence App For Diagnosing Skin Disorders

Based on photographs submitted by patients, Google has introduced a tool that utilizes artificial intelligence to assist spot skin, hair, and nail disorders.

It was introduced during the internet titan’s annual developer conference,Google IO is expected to start later this year.

The AI can identify 288 skin disorders, but it is not intended to replace medical diagnosis and therapy.

It took three years in development, trained on a datasets of 65,000 images of diagnosed conditions, along with millions of images of labels individuals were worried about, and tons of photos of healthy skin in all shades.
